Recently, the Centre for Studies and Development and International Cooperation of the UB Faculty of Political Science and the European Investment Bank (EIB) have launched a call for applications for the European Investment Bank Summer School, which will take place between June 24th – 6th July 2024 in Luxemburg.
Interested students can apply for a place by Sunday, April 21st 2024. The competition is open for all UB Master’s students, irrespective of specialization.
The International Summer School in Luxemburg aims to offer master’s students a better understanding of the activities and main responsibilities of the EIB Group and to consolidate a network of current and future partners of the EIB Group, by means of its program dedicated to graduates, where they are offered the opportunity of being recruited for internships and work places within the institutions of the European Union, including the European Investment Bank.
The EIB Group, comprising the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund, represents the largest international multilateral financial institution, being at the same time one of the main stockholders of the funds dedicated to fighting climate change.
Among eligibility criteria, we can mention the interest for areas that EIB is active in, critical thinking and the openness to work in a multicultural international environment.
Students interested in participating are invited to fill in this form, where they will submit a CV and cover letter, both in English.
During the Summer School, participants will have the opportunity to take part in classes, group discussions and case studies to gain a deep understanding of the mission and impact of the EIB Group and how it answers current challenges of the EU and beyond.
Except for the transport to and from Luxembourg, the participation costs (accommodation, meals) for the selected participants from the University of Bucharest are supported by the EIB.
