The Hub Society, Culture and Patrimony is, again, the top preference of the coordinators of Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs) offered by the CIVIS Alliance. Nearly half of the BIPs launched this fall have as main field of study Social Sciences and Humanities. Even so, considering that these programs cross the borders of subjects, cycles and traditional study fields, they can be accessed by students from different study fields.
We live in a world in which technical aspects are slowly taken over by Artificial Intelligence. However, interhuman relationships, communication and the abilities necessary for the successful navigation through life cannot be transmitted to robots. Thus, BIP creators highlight, in this session of programs, the transfer of those qualities and information able to help us confront a completely new, constantly changing world.

Each BIP is developed, organized and taught by teaching staff from at least three universities members of CIVIS and combines online teaching with 5 days of physical mobilities in one of the home countries of the universities involved in the program.
Graduating a BIP offers students 3-9 ECTS and is mentioned in the CIVIS passport of each participant. The physical mobility is financially supported through Erasmus+ funds, provided that the candidate does not simultaneously benefit from another Erasmus scholarship.
