Between September 24th – 26th, representatives of the Learning Centre of the University of Bucharest are attending the 2024 edition of the Global CIVIS Days event with project eBelong: Sense of Belonging in the Context of New HE Alliances. Within it, the University of Bucharest coordinates, next to the Aix-Marseille University, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Autonomous University in Madrid and Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, the first organizational culture study within CIVIS.
The study represents a first step towards changing organizational culture in the sense of diversity and inclusion. Up to present, 100 members of the academic community of the University of Bucharest have already attended, as part of a random selection, the first organizational culture diagnose done at the University of Bucharest.
The research continues and is addressed to the teaching staff who wish to contribute to establishing a point of reference for culture and a common language for changing the culture of the University of Bucharest towards the ideals at the level of the CIVIS Alliance.
The study is done within Erasmus+ project eBelong: Sense of Belonging in the Context of New HE Alliances, which finances the actions of identifying the necessary levers to shift the actual culture of partner universities towards the ideal of their alliance, an inclusive culture based on collaboration and support.
