On May 18-19, 2022, the School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and the Kapodistrian University of Athens are organizing the CIVIS Panathlon 2022 – The Active University.
The Panathlon, which aims to prove once again that physical activity is an engine for integration and inclusion, is designed for students at all levels of education, professors, researchers, and administrative staff at the 10 CIVIS universities.
The event will take place on the campus of the Kapodistrian University of Athens, and participants must have a minimum level of English B2. Approximately 60 participants will be selected for the Panathlon, which will be organized into teams. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by CIVIS and member universities.
Interested persons are asked to register online by filling in the form available here by April 25, 2022, at the latest. Selected candidates will be notified by the end of April 2022, when they will also receive instructions on travel and accommodation.
The Panathlon, which aims to help build an active university, intends to be a tool for reducing inequalities between people, regardless of gender, (disability), age, sexual orientation, religion, etc. The winners will be rewarded with a mobility voucher that will allow them to visit, at their choice, any CIVIS member university.
More details on the event are available here.
