The process of internationalization of the University of Bucharest is done through the International Relations Direction, through the two offices of its componence, the ERASMUS Office and the International Cooperation and Foreign Students Office, in collaboration with other administrative departments and the faculties of the University.
The mission of the International Relations Direction is to coordinate and support the different forms of international cooperation in which the University of Bucharest is involved, mainly the management of academic and research exchanges with the external partner universities.
The main duties of the International Relations Direction are:
- counselling and monitoring of foreign students;
- counseling of foreign lecturers who teach within the University of Bucharest;
- counselling of Romanian students and academics who study or carry out research internships abroad;
- management of Erasmus mobilities (students and academics);
- management and registry of projects financed through Erasmus+ Programme ;
- management of CEEPUS mobilities – foreign students and academics with CEEPUS grants;
- management of AUF “Eugen Ionescu” grants (through the Francophone University Agency).
