Given the rapid progress of technology and Artificial Intelligence, the need to adapt to this new technology has also become more stringent. Today, more than ever, we must find a way to make science work for us and find out how we can use technology to face current challenges. Thus, professors within CIVIS member universities have designed for this session of BIPs four programs dedicated to cities and digital and technological transformations:
- Navigating Uncertainty: Building Sustainable Skills for Life
- Science Communication: Sharing knowledge and creating connections. III Edition
- Using Drones in Environmental Sciences
- Euro-African Trade and Investment Relations and the Polycrisis
Each BIP is developed, organized and taught by teaching staff from at least three universities members of CIVIS and combines online teaching with 5 days of physical mobility in one of the home countries of the universities involved in the program. Details and the registration form are available on the individual page of each course.
For most of the programs, English proficiency, CV and Cover Letter are the main selection criteria. Graduating a BIP offers students 3-9 ECTS and is mentioned in the CIVIS passport of each participant.
The physical mobility is financially supported through Erasmus funds, provided that the applicant does not benefit simultaneously from another Erasmus scholarship. More details are available on the dedicated webpage.
