At the end of May 2024, the University of Bucharest, through UB’s Learning Centre, launches the first organizational culture study in CIVIS, realized within 5 universities in the Alliance, among which the University of Bucharest.
The project manager on behalf of UB is associated professor Camelia Rădulescu, PhD, coordinator of the activities of the UB Learning Centre and teaching staff at the UB Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences.
The other partners in the project are Aix-Marseille Université, the National and Kapodistrian University in Athens, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen.
Over 200 members of the UB academic community will attend the event, representing their colleagues in the first culture diagnosis realized at the University of Bucharest.
The Human Synergistics instruments used are standardized, calibrated for an international context, and were previously used for analyses in higher education institutions: OCI – Organisational Culture Inventory – for the transformation of culture and OEI – Organisational Effectiveness Inventory – for climate transformation.
The current organizational culture report will lead to the establishment of a reference point for culture and a common language for changing UB culture, towards the inclusive ideal, at the level of the CIVIS Alliance.
More details can be offered by the project manager, associate professor Camelia Rădulescu, PhD, coordinator of the activities of the UB Learning Centre.
The Erasmus+ project „eBelong: Sense of Belonging in the Context of New HE Alliances” finances actions which identify support elements which can help develop current culture of partner universities to achieve the ideal of their Alliance, an inclusive culture based on collaboration and support.
