The international conference “Mental Health: global challenges of XXI century”, 3rd edition, was organized by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, in partnership with the University of Thessaly, the Institute for Social and Political Psychology National Academy of Educational Science of Ukraine and New DSA Network. The event took place between the 31st of September – 2nd of October 2019, in the “Grigore Moisil” Hall of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (15-17, Calea Dorobanți).
The conference objective was to provide a platform that facilitates an exchange of ideas and the development of an academic and non-academic network of researchers, practitioners and decision makers in the mental health field. Furthermore, the conference aimed to promote transdisciplinary and multicultural researches that come up with solutions in the mental health care.
Viktor Vus, PhD, member of the Institute for Social and Political Psychology National Academy of Educational Science of Ukraine, Valentina Vitale, PhD, New DSA Network coordinator, and Daniela Dumitru, PhD, Director of the Teacher Training Department of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies conferenced the event opening, which took place at 10:00.
At the event, prof. Mircea Dumitru, PhD, the Rector of the University of Bucharest, delivered a speech on Thursday, 31st of October 2019.
