Between February 13-16, 2023, the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Bucharest hosted a new meeting within the Erasmus+ project “Development of Inclusive and Participatory Learning in Organizations through Multicultural Ambassadors – DIPLOMA”.
During this meeting, 40 students from Romania, France, Great Britain and Turkey participated in a training session on how to become a student ambassador, facilitated by the members of the project, under the coordination of lect. Ruxandra Folostînă, PhD, teaching staff at FPSE and project director.
The DIPLOMA project, grounded on the principle of enhancing social inclusion, offers young people from disadvantaged/marginalized communities, contacts and learning opportunities that allow them to better access information on training and education courses. Student ambassadors/volunteers will work locally/regionally in the three partner countries with young people who have fewer opportunities, including young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, ethnic minority groups, young people from Roma and immigrant communities.
The DIPLOMA project is carried out in partnership by the University of Suffolk (Great Britain), the Université Catholique De L’ouest – Association St-Yves (France), the University of Amasya (Turkey), the National Alliance of Student Organizations from Romania (ANOSR) and the Bucharest Center for Educational and Sports Projects. The FPSE meeting took place within the Erasmus+ Program Action 2: Strategic Partnerships, project no.: 2021-1-RO01-KA220-HED-000027615, whose first meeting took place on June 9-10, 2022, being hosted by FPSE.More information on the DIPLOMA project is available on the website of the project.
