Between September 5-9, 2022, experts from the Ministry of Education, teaching staff and MA students at the Didactic Master’s programs at the University of Bucharest participated in an international mobility, held at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

The mobility took place within the framework of the project POCU/864/6/21/140783 “Starting career through teaching master”, Code SMIS 140783 and represented a good opportunity to improve the initial training of future teaching staff, by carrying out exchanges of experience and educational partnerships.
Thus, two experts from the Ministry of Education, six UB teaching staff (one from the Faculty of Biology, two from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and three from the Faculty of Chemistry), as well as ten master’s students from the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Foreign Languages and Literatures and Letters, participated in a series of events organized by Nadia Fernández de Pinedo, PhD, senior lecturer in the Department of Economic Analysis: Economic Theory and Economic History of the Autonomous University of Madrid.

During the five days, professors and students participated in a series of round tables organized by the Faculties of Philosophy and Letters, Economics, Medicine and Education (Teacher training) of the Autonomous University of Madrid, as well as visits and discussions with representatives of faculties within the university. Also, on Thursday, September 8, 2022, the hosts prepared a socio-cultural program for the 18 Romanian guests.
Run as part of the opportunities offered by CIVIS – the European Civic University, of which the University of Bucharest is also a part, the mobility offered the participants the opportunity to acquire new life skills, better communication skills and the excellent opportunity to expand their professional knowledge.
