“The Interdisciplinary Institutional Platform for Excellence in Research, Development and Professional Training in the Field of Archaeological Sciences” is a common platform facilitating a complex, interdisciplinary and integrative approach of the cultural archeologic heritage. The platform will develop some research and training activities in the field of archaeological and material (mobile and immobile) and immaterial cultural heritage.
As soon as the project is established, the University of Bucharest will be the first Romanian university developing such projects in the field of Archaeological Sciences. Thus Romania will follow in line with the existing research directions and programs of other EU countries and from all over the world, given that 2018 is the European Year of Cultural Heritage.
