UNIVERSITY HOUSE
On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, during a press conference organized in partnership with the Romanian Order of Architects (OAR), the University of Bucharest announced the winner of the International Design Competition for the Redevelopment of the University House Garden. The competition was won by ”Vlad Sebastian Rusu” Architecture Studio (Romania), whose proposal was selected by the international jury as the best solution for the revitalization and transformation of the University House Garden and its existing ancillary buildings. | Read more…
UB ADMISSION
The University of Bucharest recorded a record number of applications during the 2026 summer admission session, with significant increases in the number of applicants to both bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. Across the University, competition for state-funded places reached an average of 6.1 applications per place for bachelor’s programmes and 3 applications per place for master’s programmes. For the 2026 admission cycle, the University offered 4,868 state-funded places for bachelor’s studies and 3,252 state-funded places for master’s studies. | Read more…
