The University of Bucharest is the first university in Romania in what concerns employment outcomes, according to the latest edition of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings Europe 2025, one of the most renowned rankings in the academic space at world level.
For the indicator that targets employment outcomes, the University of Bucharest is positioned among the first 81 universities in Europe from 684 institutions included in this year’s ranking.
In addition, according to the general QS World University Rankings 2025, the University of Bucharest is the first university in Romania in what concerns employment outcomes and employer reputation.
According to the same ranking, the University of Bucharest once again holds its place in the top of the most important universities. Thus, for the indicator that analyzes the results of graduates (employment outcomes), the University of Bucharest is positioned among the first 235 universities in the world, from a total of 1.503 institutions included in this year’s ranking, while for the indicator targeting employer reputation, the University of Bucharest ranks 462nd at international level.
The QS World University Rankings Europe is currently at its second edition and offers a hierarchy of the most important higher education institutions in Europe, based on 12 performance indicators, grouped in 4 categories: Research and Discovery, Employability and Outcomes, Learning Experience, Global Engagement and Sustainability. The QS World University Rankings, having reached it 21st edition, offers annually, starting from 9 performance indicators, a hierarchy of the most important higher education institutions in the world. With various percentages in evaluating the final score, the 9 indicators target academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio, international student ratio, international research network, employment outcomes and sustainability.
