“We truly believe that when we work together, we can change the world.” This is the message coming from the University of Glasgow, announcing their annual international partner event – Global Glasgow Days. This year’s congress will be hosted online, on the 23rd and 24th October 2023.
Over two days, sector-leading partners and bodies from around the world are invited to come together to share expertise and explore new opportunities in research, learning and teaching, student experience and partnership development.
The sessions scheduled for this year’s event are:
- High Education leaders roundtable: challenges & opportunities
- The influence and impact of global partnerships
- A sense of place: the global-civic university
- Universities for the future: the value of reputation in higher education
- The future of transnational education
- Artificial intelligence and the higher education sector: threat or opportunity
- Student panel: shaping a world-changing experience.

Launched last year under the title, “The Future of Internationalisation”, Global Glasgow Days is a two-day online event meant to celebrate the power of collaboration and teamwork that is at the heart of the University of Glasgow’s international strategy, Global Glasgow 2025.
