Marin Vlada, professor at the University of Bucharest
- He graduated and supported his doctorate at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science in Bucharest (Mate-Info 1978).
- Initially, after graduating the 5 years of faculty, he worked 4 years as a programmer at CINOR (Center for Informatics and Organization of the Municipality of Bucharest), then, for 10 years, he worked as a researcher / programmer at the Calculation Center of the University of Bucharest (CCUB), established by Academ. Gr. C. Moisil.
- Since 2016 he is an full member of CRIFST (Romanian Committee for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology), the Romanian Academy.
- It has activities and results in dementias: E-Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Graphics, Virtual Reality, Web Technologies.
- He has the biography included in "2000 Outstanding intellectuals of the 21st century, first ed.", Cambridge and in the "Encyclopedia of Personalities in Romania".
- In 2003 he founded the CNIV (National Conference on Virtual Education) e-Learning project - "New technologies in research education", and in 2006, the international e-Learning project ICVL (The International Conference on Virtual Learning) - "New Technologies in Education and Research ”. These education and research projects, with tradition at the University of Bucharest, which are still ongoing, have been awarded at national level.
- In 2018, on the occasion of the Centenary of the Great Union of Romania, it launches the national project ROINFO 2018-2020 "Romanian Informatics","60 YEARS OF ROMANIAN COMPUTERS" regarding "The history of Romanian informatics.
