Biography

BSc in Chemistry & Physics in 1995 and MSc in Heterogeneous Catalysis in 1996 at the University of Bucharest (UB), Romania. PhD in Catalysis in 2002 at the Institute of Catalysis – University Lyon 1, France, and appointment as a lecturer at UB. CNRS post-doctoral researcher from Oct. 2006 to Sept. 2007 at the Institute Charles Gerhardt Montpellier, France. Senior Researcher at the Research Center for Catalysts and Catalytic Processes of UB from 2007. Habilitation in Catalysis in 2013 at UB. Full Professor at UB from Feb. 2020, in charge of Chemical Technology and Catalytic Materials disciplines. Research interests cover the field of catalysis by metal oxides. More than 80 publications, including three book chapters and four encyclopedia articles.
