As CIVIS members, UB students are invited to apply for the fourth edition of the European Student Assembly (ESA). The event will take place between from 26th to 28th May 2025, at the headquarters of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Students will be able to apply until 1st December, the application form will soon be available in the EUC voices website, here.
The European Student Assembly (ESA) is a grassroots project that gathers each year more than 250 students from the European Universities Alliances (EUAs) to debate current issues, draft policy recommendations on the future of Europe and advocate them among stakeholders and decision-makers.
The annual European Student Assembly (ESA) gives students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of key topics for the European Union, discuss with fellow students, present solutions during plenary sessions, thus contributing to shape European policies. ESA is part of the EUC Voices Erasmus Project, that aims to “empower European students, arming them with essential skills and knowledge to become global change leaders and active contributors to their shared European destiny”.
Based on the feedback from the EUC Voices management and from alliances in 2023, the target should no longer be students “representing/ambassadors”, the target should be any Student.
This means that each University will evaluate and rank their students application.
The selection of participants will lay the stress on their interest for European politics, culture and society, on their motivation to participate in an intercultural event, to defend their opinion and have an impact on their community, as well as their level of excellence.
ESA does not charge any participation cost. Meals will be provided for free, as well as accommodation for three nights in a youth hostel.
You can find more information regarding last edition of ESA here.
