University of Bucharest guarantees full academic freedom to conceive, develop and achieve scientific excellence, with no interference on the topic, methods and objectives of the research.
The research activities deployed within the University of Bucharest are completely in agreement with the European Charter for Researchers and a Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The sustainable evolution of the research career is secured for all the contractual staff.
University of Bucharest constantly encourages the mobility of researchers inside and outside the EU, and it guarantees that gender, race, political and any other discrimination are not permitted.
Research involving sensitive ethical problems or plagiarism is not tolerated.
The annual report of the Commission of Ethics of University of Bucharest is a public document containing detailed references about the observance of ethics in research, and it is submitted to the Rector and University Senate.
