The Directorate aims to apply the strategic decisions of the Senate, of the Academic College and of the Administrative Council according to the legal regulations in place.
The main responsibility of the Directorate is to coordinate and to monitor the activity of the secretariats of the faculties in the management of the academic activities of the students enrolled in bachelor’s degree studies, master’s degree studies, Ph. D. studies, post-university studies and post-doctoral studies, continuing education courses and continuous professional development courses.
Other activities of the General Directorate of the Secretariat:
- it organizes the admittance examination for the three academic study cycles for the bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Ph. D., post-university studies and habilitation.
- it organizes the final examinations for the bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Ph. D. study cycles, as well as for the post-university studies and for the development courses.
- it organizes the pre-university didactical grade awarding exams as well as those for the development of the staff in the pre-university field.
- it compiles and issues study documents (diplomas, certificates, credentials, academic records, academic transcripts, diploma supplements etc.)
