Between October 3rd – 6th 2024, the International Centre for Innovation in Education (ICIE), in partnership with the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Bucharest and Romanian Gifted School, will organize the 26th edition of the ICIE international conference, themed Excellence, Innovation & Creativity in Basic-Higher Education & Psychology: Latest Development in Research & Practices.
The event will be hosted at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences (90 Panduri Street).
The international conference aims to be a space for information, debate and connection for professors, researchers in the field of education, specialists and decision agents in the education system, as well as for the families preoccupied with the education of gifted children. The conference will include presentations of international personalities in the sphere of psychology and education sciences, next to a series of interactive workshops for developing the participants’ skills.
Among the 100 guests of the ICIE international conference there are renowned personalities such as professors Joseph S. Renzulli and Sally M. Reis, teaching staff at the University of Connecticut, and professor Don Ambrose, teaching staff at Rider University in the United States of America.
Professor Joseph S. Renzulli, pioneer in the education of children with exceptional abilities
Professor Joseph S. Renzulli, PhD, is the Director of the National Centre of Research for Talented and Gifted Children from UConn and Distinguished Professor in educational psychology within the Neag School in the US. Leader and pioneer in the education of gifted children, Joseph S. Renzulli is considered to be one of the top 25 most influential psychologists in the world by the American Association of Psychology.
Professor Sally M. Reis, member of the teaching staff of the University of Connecticut
Professor Sally M. Reis, PhD, is the director of the Letitia Neag Morgan department in educational psychology, Distinguished Professor within the administration board and member of the teaching staff of the University of Connecticut from the US. She formerly occupied the position of director of the Department of Educational Psychology within the National Centre of Research for Talented and Gifted Children.
Professor Don Ambrose, member in the editorial councils of numerous international magazines in the field of education for children with exceptional abilities
Professor Don Ambrose, PhD, is part of the teaching staff at Rider University in the USA. The specialist is part of the editorial councils of many international magazines in the field of education with children with exceptional abilities. He has authored several books, among which: Creative Intelligence in the 21st Century: Grappling with Enormous Problems and Huge Opportunities (with Robert J.
