Between October 24th – 25th 2024, the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work of the University of Bucharest organizes and hosts the International conference of the Society and Sociologists Intersections 2024: Structures and Flows. Exploring Multiplexity in Contemporary Sociology.
The theme of the conference is focused on the concept of multiplex sociology, in which the connection of theories and methodologies is done in a horizon of multiple perspectives.
The conference is organized in memory of professor Lazăr Vlăsceanu to honor and recognize his significant contribution to the development of sociology as a discipline in Romania. The theme of the conference encourages the attendants to adopt and explore interdisciplinary approaches and multiplex perspectives which allow a more profound and comprehensive perspective of contemporary society.
