Monday, 15 January 2024, the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest organizes the discussion “Multidisciplinary Approaches to Religious and Cultural Heritage”. The event will take place starting with 14:30 at the Institute for History of Religions of the Academy of Sciences (Calea 13 Septembrie 13, Sector 5, Bucharest).
The event will include the launch of the following volumes: Rituality and Social (Dis)order. The Historical Anthropology of Popular Carnival in Europe and Ritualising Cultural Heritage and Re-Enchanting Rituals in Europe, signed by prof. Alessandro Testo, and La Chiesa Ortodossa Romena in Italia. Per una geografia storico-religiosa, signed by prof. Maria Chiara Giorda.
Speakers will be the two authors, prof. Maria Chiara Giorda, from Roma Tre University, and prof. Alessandro Testa, from the Charles Universiy Prague, as well prof. Eugen Ciurtin and dr. Daniela Dumbravă, both from the Institute for History of Religions of the Academy of Sciences. The meeting will be moderated by Giuseppe Tateo, fellow at the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest.
