On Monday, September 21, 2026, the Research Institute of the University of Bucharest invites you to the workshop ‘Membrane protein biophysics: experiment and computation‘.
The event will take place starting with 10:00 AM at the Rectorate of the University of Bucharest, in the Board of Directors Room (Șos. Panduri no. 90, 1st floor) and is open to the entire UB academic community: students from all degree levels, faculty, and researchers interested in the announced topics.
The workshop will include a special talk delivered by Tatsuro Nishikino, from the Nagoya Institute of Technology, on ‘Molecular mechanisms of energy conversion in the bacterial flagellar motor of marine Vibrio’. A short bio of the invited speaker and the abstract of the presentation can be accessed here.
