CIVIS Tandem language exchange
Students and staff at CIVIS universities are welcome to sign up for our Tandem program, and be matched with a suitable language buddy from any of the CIVIS universities. More information, including a link to the registration form, can be found on the website, here.
CIVIS Language Cafes
Just like last term, the Language Cafes will take place both online through Zoom and on campus at Stockholm University. The format of the cafes in each language (on campus, on Zoom or a hybrid format) will be up to the student volunteers in charge of that language.
Students and staff from CIVIS universities are very welcome to attend the cafes hosted online or in a hybrid format, and the organizers look forward to welcoming CIVIS students as online coordinators (volunteer language supporters) this term as well.
Signing up as a participant
Students and staff who are interested in participating for language practice sign up for the spring term through the registration form. All participants must sign up individually, using their official university email address, and will receive a confirmation email. Sign-up is open all term. More information can be found on the website.
Please note: Those who signed up for last term’s language cafes also need to fill out the form above – the registration is valid for the current term only.
Signing up as a coordinator
Students who are interested in volunteering as coordinators in their language(s) are encouraged to sign up for the hybrid information meeting taking place on Thursday January 19th at 15:00 CET. More information and the signup link are available on the website.
Coordinator sign-up is open all term through email, at info@sprakstudion.su.se, but the initial schedule and list of available languages will be determined by those who participate in the January 19th meeting.
Schedule
The initial schedule for the Language Cafes will be published on our website latest Friday January 27th 2023, and the cafes will start on Monday January 30th 2023.
