After a ten-year hiatus, the choir of the University of Bucharest has resumed its activity and is organizing a preselection for new members.
The choir is looking for both female and male voices. It is not necessary to be a soprano, viola, tenor or bass, nor to have choir experience, just to have talent and a desire to sing in a team guided by the love for music.
“Are you passionate about singing? Have you ever wanted to sing in a choir? Now is your chance to be part of the choir of the University of Bucharest! You will enjoy the music, and it will help you make new friends. You don’t need experience, don’t hesitate, register now!”, is the message sent by the organizers.
People interested in participating in the auditions for the choir of the University of Bucharest can register either by filling out this online form or by sending their contact details (name, surname, e-mail address, institutional affiliation, musical background, song recommendations) to corulUB@g.unibuc.ro.
In December 2022, the choir of the University of Bucharest gave two Christmas carol concerts in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest and in the Constitutional Square in Bucharest. Videos and photos from the shows can be seen here and here.
