University of Bucharest supports the fundamental and applied research, inter- and trans-disciplinarity, fully in line with the national priorities (National Strategy for Research, Innovation and Development 2014-2020) and the European framework (Europe 2020 Strategy), aiming to provide feasible solutions and services for the societal challenges and economic needs.
The research strategy of the University of Bucharest addresses the several specific objectives:
