Between March 27-31, 2023, a delegation led by prof. Viorel Vizureanu, PhD, dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Bucharest, paid an official visit to the State University of Yerevan, Armenia.
The delegation also included lect. Laurențiu Marius Gheorghe, PhD, Erasmus manager of the Faculty of Philosophy and Lilian Ciachir, coordinator of the UNESCO Chair for Intercultural Studies, Good Governance and Sustainable Development within the Faculty of Philosophy.
The members of the delegation met prof. Elina V. Asriyan, PhD, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and prof. Alexander Markarov, Director of the Department for International Cooperation at Yerevan State University.
Also, during the visit, meetings were held with the representatives of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology (prof. Alexan S. Baghdasaryan, PhD, Dean, prof. Alexander S. Manasyan, PhD, Department of History of Philosophy), of the Faculty of Sociology (prof. Artur Ye. Mkrtichyan, PhD, Dean, prof. Arthur V. Atanesyan, PhD, Head of the Department of Applied Sociology), of the Faculty of Economics and Management (prof. Hayk L. Sargsyan, PhD, Dean, prof. Karlen G. Khachatryan, PhD, Head of the Department of Management and Business, prof. Anna H. Hakobjanyan, PhD, Department of Management and Business).
The discussions focused on the strengthening of academic and research collaboration between the partners, a main point being the implementation of academic mobility programs leading to joint degrees.
