Between December 3–7, 2025, the University of Bucharest Publishing House – Bucharest University Press (EUB–BUP) invites book lovers to join us at the “Gaudeamus Radio Romania” book fair.
As in previous years, the fair will be held at the Romexpo Exhibition Complex (65–67 Mărăști Boulevard, District 1, Bucharest). Visitors can find the EUB–BUP booth at no. 113, pavilion B2, where they’ll discover a wide range of titles – from new releases to established works from the Publishing House’s catalogue.
EUB–BUP has prepared a rich program featuring five book launches, each showcasing distinguished authors, special guests, and topics of major academic interest.
Book Launch Program
Wednesday, December 3, 2025 – 4:30 PM
The series opens with the launch of “Navigating cultural identities and histories. In memoriam Mihaela Irimia (1951–2022),” coordinated by Dragoș Ivana. The event will take place in the “Mircea Nedelciu” event space, with guests Alexandra Bacalu, Andreea Paris, Sorana Corneanu, and Bogdan Ștefănescu.

Thursday, December 4, 2025 – 6:30 PM
The volume “Alexander the Great in Bactria and India. Narrative Sources and Historical Geography,” by Dan Tudor Ionescu, will be presented in the “Mircea Nedelciu” space, with Alexandra Lițu as guest speaker.

Friday, December 5, 2025 – 4:00 PM
In the “Nicolae Titulescu” hall, visitors are invited to the launch of “Tânărul Mircea Eliade. De la scrierile adolescentului miop la prozele din „ciclul indian” (1921-1935),” edited by Oana Soare, with guests Cristina Balinte, Sorin Alexandrescu, and Paul Cernat.

The volume ”Pravila de la Govora,” coordinated by Alexandru Mareș and edited by Marius Mazilu, will be launched in the “Mircea Sântimbreanu” space, featuring contributions from Ovidiu Olar, Marius Mazilu, and Rodica Zafiu.

Also in the “Mircea Sântimbreanu” event space, the series will conclude with the launch of “Variație sintactică în româna actuală,” edited by Rodica Zafiu and Adnana Boioc Apintei, with Andra Vasilescu as guest.
