The Faculty of Sociology and Social Work at the University of Bucharest is welcoming the second semester with a new initiative designed to improve everyday comfort for both students and staff: filtered water dispensers have been installed in both faculty buildings.
Starting this semester, the academic community can enjoy access to high-quality filtered drinking water, available both cold and hot. The hot water option makes it easy to prepare tea, coffee, instant soup, or hot chocolate throughout the day.
A total of four dispensers have been installed:
- Schitu Măgureanu Building – one dispenser is located near Room 201 (with both cold and hot water options), and another is available in the lounge area near the sofas.
- Panduri Building – two dispensers are located on the ground floor, near Lecture Hall 103.
All units are equipped with high-performance filtration systems to ensure excellent water quality. In addition, the dispensers are directly connected to the public water supply, making this a practical and environmentally responsible solution.
Students are encouraged to bring reusable bottles or their own containers for hot beverages to help support the faculty’s sustainability efforts.
