We’ve extended the application deadline for the School of #Creativity! Send us your CV along with your answer to the question “Why do you consider yourself creative?” or a sample of your creativity at scoaladecreativitate@unibuc.ro by June 12, 2026. In return, we’re offering a one-of-a-kind experience in Sinaia, from July 20–25, 2026.
Whether you’re an undergraduate, master’s, or PhD student at the University of Bucharest, the School of #Creativity invites you to explore new ideas, collaborate with passionate people, and turn inspiration into real projects – from theatre and music to creative writing and branding. This is the place where you’ll discover your potential, make new friends, and create memories that stay with you. This summer, let us make your plans for you.
The School of Creativity welcomes you to take part in interactive interdisciplinary training sessions, where you’ll learn, experiment, and have fun alongside some of the most creative professors and professionals.
The workshops will be led by faculty members from the University of Bucharest, the “Ion Luca Caragiale” National University of Theatre and Film, the National University of Music Bucharest, the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urban Planning, as well as other renowned specialists in the field of creativity.
And beyond the two daily workshops, you’ll also take on a few challenges: hiking trips, campfires, and – most importantly – having a great time.
If you are selected, we’ll invite you to an interview to show us why you deserve a scholarship for the coolest experience of the summer.
The School of #Creativity is organized by the Communication and Public Relations Department of the University of Bucharest. Through initiatives aimed at developing students’ communication skills, creativity, and civic engagement, the department coordinates a range of projects that encourage young people to actively participate in academic life and engage with society.
Among the student-focused projects developed by the department are UBtalks, the School of #Creativity, and the coLABORATORY of IDEAS – initiatives designed to foster leadership, entrepreneurial thinking, and effective communication through creative, socially relevant approaches.
UBtalks gives participants the opportunity to sharpen their presentation skills and promote innovative ideas within the academic community. The School of #Creativity encourages lateral thinking and creativity through practical workshops and interactive training sessions in areas such as theatre, music, graphic design, and branding. Meanwhile, the coLABORATORY of IDEAS invites UB students, master’s students, and PhD candidates to propose original solutions for bringing science closer to citizens, encouraging collaboration between academia and society.
See you in Sinaia!
