The festive spirit of the winter holidays has arrived at the University of Bucharest with the decorating of the Christmas tree. On Friday, December 5, 2025, on the eve of Saint Nicholas Day, students, faculty, and members of the UB community gathered in the foyer of the Rectorate to warmly and joyfully mark the start of the winter season.
Now a cherished tradition, the decorating of the Christmas tree is a moment of connection and celebration for the entire university community. This year, too, the students’ enthusiasm and positive energy brought even more light and cheer to the university. To celebrate everyone’s participation, UB offered symbolic gifts meant to add a touch of magic to this special time of year.
Saint Nicholas also “left” some good news for the university community: the official University of Bucharest shop – shop.unibuc.ro – is preparing a series of surprises designed to bring the UB spirit even closer to all who appreciate it.
