The University of Bucharest is continuing the initiative it launched last year for student associations and students, and announces the opening of a project competition aimed at promoting UB’s educational offer in high schools located in towns with fewer than 10.000 inhabitants.
The project competition, addressed to students and student associations of UB, is intended to promote the university’s educational programs and services, as well as the opportunities for access to higher education for prospective applicants, especially targeting students from high schools in rural areas (villages, hamlets) and small towns with under 10.000 residents. A list of eligible localities can be consulted here.
Funded through the project CNFIS-FDI-2025-F-0263 – UB – o comunitate academică modernă, incluzivă și echitabilă (UB-ACCEPT), the competition will provide funding of up to 3,000 RON for five selected projects.
Students involved in implementing these outreach projects will become UB ambassadors and may also participate, depending on availability, in other related activities organized by the university, including additional promotional events and initiatives.
Project proposals must be submitted electronically by uploading the application via the form available here, by the coordinating student, no later than Sunday, May 4, 2025.
Students whose projects are selected will receive extracurricular awards/scholarships of up to 600 RON per team member, regardless of the number of students on the team. These will be granted after the submission of implementation reports for the promotion projects.
Further details about the call launched under the UB ACCEPT project can be requested via email at sustenabilitate@g.unibuc.ro.
