Art safari, the largest event dedicated to art in Romania, has opened its doors and invites the UB community to an exhibition dedicated to love – art safari love edition. The Romanian art you love is at Art Safari!
The event takes place between June 30 and September 10, 2023, and at this edition the public is invited to meet the master of portrait and landscape, Constantin Artachino (1870 – 1954). Visiting hours are between 10:00 and 20:00, daily.
The annual organizer of the Bucharest Art Pavilion – the largest conglomerate of art exhibitions in Romania – now in its 12th edition, carries out, in partnership with Romanian and international art museums and private collectors, extensive retrospective exhibitions that propose recovery of heritage values.
20 lei, the Art Safari access fee for members of the UB community
For the 2023 edition, members of the UB community – students, teaching staff and administrative staff – benefit from a special rate for access to the Art Safari pavilions.
Thus, tickets for students, teaching staff and staff of the University of Bucharest will be available for the price of only 20 lei. The full access fee for all four Art Safari pavilions is 90 lei for adults, and tickets for the 2023 edition are available here.
We make it clear that the reduced tickets for the UB community can be purchased exclusively offline, from the Art Safari ticket office located in the Dacia-România Palace (Lipscani Street, no. 18-20, Bucharest), based on the presentation of the student/employee card.

“The series of recoveries of Romanian artists continues with the master Constantin Artachino, to whom we dedicate an entire exhibition at Art Safari Love Edition. We exhibited works that capture the Balkan and Oriental world, which the artist was so attracted to. We are glad that the Village National Museum “Dimitrie Gusti” had a significant contribution to the entire framework that we created, giving an authentic touch to the exhibition for all generations”, declares Ioana Ciocan, CEO of Art Safari.
The Constantin Artachino exhibition, curator: Elena Olariu, is made in partnership with the Bucharest City Museum, the National Art Museum of Romania, the Village National Museum “Dimitrie Gusti”, the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant and the National Museum of Old Maps and Books. With a strong educational mission, its task is to bring art closer to the public and educate new generations by organizing art workshops for children, guided tours and contemporary art exhibitions in unconventional spaces, such as Henri Coandă Airport or the Bucharest subway.
