Wednesday, April 3rd 2024, the Faculty of Letters of the University of Bucharest organized the conference themed Information sharing and information flow within creative industries, held by professor Tuomas J. Harviainen.
Tuomas Harviainen is a professor of Information Studies and Interactive Media at the Tampere University in Finland. His research focuses on informational practices in various contexts, such as creative industries, municipal strategies and Dark Web. Professor Harviainen has a fruitful research activity, having published several books and over 80 articles in the most important magazines in his research domain. He is also regional editor of the Information Research magazine published in diamond Open Access.
The conference was organized by Octavia-Luciana Madge, associate professor at the Faculty of Letters and the Doctoral School in Communication Sciences. Among the participants were PhD, Master’s and Bachelor’s students enrolled at the University of Bucharest, and the conference was followed by a session of questions and discussions.
