The Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe – UNICA announces the launch of a new edition of the video competition “Vote for Europe”.
In the proximity of European elections, the initiative aims to highlight the ideas and give a voice to the students in the universities pertaining to the UNICA network, including the University of Bucharest. Students from member universities located in countries outside of Europe can also send their applications.
The competition is addressed to students at all levels of study – Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD. Interested persons are invited to present their ideas concerning European elections in a video of maximum 2 minutes (120 seconds). Applicants must fill in the online registration form, available on the UNICA website, and send the link for the submitted video, through WeTransfer, by Sunday, May 19th 2024, at 11:59 PM. The application must also include a description of the video no longer than 300 characters.
Students cannot participate individually, but in team of 2-5 members. Check all the rules of the competition in the Regulation document.
A jury of members from UNICA, ESN, ESU (European Students’ Union) and from European institutions will decide which are the best three videos submitted in the contest. Winners will receive financial prizes, and three honorary mentions will also be granted.
UNICA is an institutional network formed by 53 universities in 37 capitals of Europe, bringing together over 175.000 employees and 1.950.000 students. Founded in 1990, UNICA’s mission is to facilitate international collaborations and to promote academic leadership by understanding and exchange of good practices between its members.
