On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, a faculty member of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (FPSE) of the University of Bucharest was among the laureates of the 2025 Romanian Academy Awards, presented during a ceremony held in the Aula of the Romanian Academy.
The Romanian Academy Awards are granted annually to Romanian scientists, cultural figures, and artists from Romania and abroad, in recognition of significant contributions to the development of Romanian culture and science, across the Academy’s 14 scientific sections.
Within the Section of Philosophy, Theology, Psychology, and Educational Sciences, the “Ion Petrovici” Award was conferred upon Prof. Dr. Dragoș Iliescu for the work “Standardized Testing in Education.”
The award ceremony took place in the presence of the members of the General Assembly of the Romanian Academy and was broadcast live on the institution’s YouTube channel.
