Between March 12th -16th 2024, The Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Bucharest organizes the 6th edition of the Brain Awareness Week, through the Laboratory of Cognitive Clinical Sciences.
The event, coordinated by associate professor Ioana Podină, PhD, is an international information campaign on the progresses in the fields of sciences and neurosciences. The theme of the current edition is Brain and Trauma, and features guests who are experts in fields such as psychology, biology and neurosciences.
The 13 lectures and workshops included in the program will approach subjects such as Brain and Trauma, The resilience of the human brain, Trauma in the context of genetic diseases and sexual abuse, Pseudoscience and myths in the field of psycho-traumatology.
Entrance at the event is free. Talks and workshops are open to professors, students and the broad audience. These will be hosted at the UB Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences (90 Panduri Str.).
