UB teaching staff and researchers are invited to develop, within the CIVIS Alliance, new innovative and collaborative educational projects next to prestigious universities in Europe and Africa, partners within the CIVIS Alliance.
The call for papers launched by the CIVIS Alliance aims at developing new projects in partnership with at least two other CIVIS universities in Europe, to which partners in Africa may be added.
The new call for papers for CIVIS educational projects wishes to offer logistic, administrative and financial support for developing various educational activities unreeled by at least three CIVIS universities, including:
Joint Bachelor’s Degrees: developing new inter-/transdisciplinary Bachelor’s programs or transforming existing programs by innovating the curriculum and extending the consortium.
Single Learning Activities – SLAs: online asynchronous courses for CIVIS students and for a large audience (MOOCs), as well as webinars and online synchronized workshops for developing practical abilities and discussing a large range of subjects.
Micro-credentials: learning activities oriented towards developing specific knowledge and competencies, finalized with recognized certificates.
Collaborative Online International Learning – COILs: connecting courses through projects unreeled in online collaborative formats by students, as part of the learning experience of the existing study programs.
