Markstrat: a team game in which strategy blends with vision
Markstrat Simulation Game means working in international teams, making decisions based on well-studied handbook, elaborating two reports which highlight the vision, mission and strategy of the teams, English competencies, all these culminating with the presentation of the project, evaluated by an international jury of professors from the 6 participating universities.
The medals won represent added value to the hiring portfolio of the students who took part in the competition.
Not lastly, in order to take a place on the podium, the participating teams had to demonstrate competencies regarding team work, speed and spontaneity in making decisions or finding solutions, working under stress, self-evaluation competences and critical situations reactions.
It is a process in which, as a participating student, you don’t just learn, but, above all, you mature in order to be able to later face any challenges life may bring.
The University of Bucharest is affiliated, since 2008, to the DUKENET European Consortium, next to Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, Finland, and Holland.
