February 28, 2023, the deadline for submitting applications
On Thursday, February 2, 2023, the University of Bucharest launched the competition for the financing of internships for students, with a total budget of 400,000 lei. The purpose of this initiative is to meet the needs of students for integration into the labor market.
Thus, the teaching staff of the University of Bucharest can register to the competition professional internship projects included in the education plan.
Within the competition, inter- and transdisciplinary projects will be encouraged, and the existence of collaboration agreements concluded with socio-economic entities is an advantage. Internship programs that are conducted online, those that include students in the target group of various projects financed from structural funds (to avoid double funding), as well as those that did not have the updated syllabus displayed on the website at the time of submission, are not eligible for the project.
Competition calendar
The deadline for submitting the applications is February 28, 2023, and the results will be announced on March 20, 2023. Applications will be sent to the e-mail address stagii.practica@unibuc.ro and will include the documents mentioned here. To be eligible for funding, a project must have a total score of at least 70 points.

The evaluation of the applications will be carried out by a committee of four members, chaired by prof. Laura Comănescu, PhD, Vice-Rector for Study Programs and Internships.Funding will be awarded in descending order of scores, within the total budget of the competition. In the first round, a maximum of two projects from each faculty are financed, according to the number of the points obtained. Later, within the limits of the available funds and the score, other projects can be financed. The evaluation committee, as the case may be, can decide the appropriate modification of the project budget without affecting the achievement of the objectives set for the internship.
