The University of Bucharest has launched the third cycle of the master program in cognitive sciences “Open Mind”. The period of registration is from 8th to 22nd of July 2018, after which the admission interview will take place on Thursday, 26th of July, at the quarters of the Faculty of Philosophy (Spl. Independenței, no. 204).
This cycle has lectures on reasoning, memory, conscience, mind theory, cognitive and cerebral development, social, cultural knowledge, evolution of the mind, social and language neuroscience.
“Open Mind” is a two year program in which foreign and Romanian experts teach in the main areas of cognitive sciences. The first lecture will begin in October 2018 and will be delivered by teachers of the universities of Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Great Britain, France, Austria, Hungary, United States and Romania.
The preliminary calendar of the lectures may be accessed here and the exact dates of the lectures will be announced in September on the site of the program. The master program will be completed with a lucrative paper in one of the areas of teaching under the guidance of the coordinating professor.
Classes are interactive, with a duration between two and three weeks, alternating between teaching and seminars, take place during the week in the afternoon, starting at 16:00, and on Saturday morning.
The active presence and participation to lectures are mandatory. The teaching and professional communication language of the master program is English.
