– Biochimie clinica
Cursul (20 h) se adreseaza studentilor din anul III de studiu din cadrul ciclului de Licenta – sectia Biochimie si abordeaza urmatoarele subiecte:
- Introducere in patologia clinica si aplicatiile biochimiei medicale in diagnosticul de laborator;
- Sangele:Plasma si celule specializate; Anemii: pernicioasa, hemolitice; Boli asociate perturbarii metabolismului fierului; Hemoglobinopatii;
- Disfunctii hepatice si biliare: Teste biochimice ale functiei ficatului; Boli hepato-biliare: icterele, hiperbilirubinemii prin defecte genetice in metabolismul bilirubinei, fibroza/ciroza hepatica;
- Afectiuni ale pancreasului: pancreatite acuta si cronica, fibroza chistica a pancreasului (mucoviscidoza), insuficienta pancreatica, diabetul zaharat (diabetul de tip 1, diabetul de tip 2, diabetul gestational);
- Patofiziologia renala: Componente patologice in urina; Boli renale: boli glomerulare (glomerulonefrite, sindrom nefrotic), boli tubulare (acidoza tubulara renala), infectiile tractului urinar, obstructiile tractului renal, insuficienta renala, nefropatia diabetica, hipertensiunea renala;
- Patofiziologia inimii: Enzime din celulele miocardice importante din punct de vedere clinic; Conditii patologice ce afecteaza inima: boala ischemica a inimii/infarctul miocardic, insuficienta cardiaca, cardiomiopatia, aritmiile cardiace, bolile valvulare ale inimii;
- Patofiziologia arteriala: ateroscleroza, hipertensiunea arteriala, hipotensiunea arteriala.

– Aspecte teoretice si practice ale culturilor de celule animale
Cursul (28 h) se adreseaza studentilor din anul I de studiu din cadrul Masterului de Biochimie si Biologie Moleculara si abordeaza urmatoarele subiecte:
- Istoric, obiective, avantajele si dezavantajele culturilor celulare;
- Sisteme de cultivare a celulelor animale: Culturile tisulara, de organ si de celule; Culturile organotipica si histotipica; Culturi la densitati celulare mari si clonale; Culturi de celule aderente si in suspensie; Culturi primare, linii celulare finite si continue;
- Medii de cultura si conditii de cultivare;
- Ciclul de creştere si proliferarea celulelor in cultura;
- Sincronizarea celulara: Metode chimice; Metode fizice;
- Imortalizarea celulara;
- Transfectia celulara: Tipuri de transfectie; Conditii specifice de cultivare a celulelor; Metode de transfectie celulara;
- Transformarea celulara: Instabilitatea genomica; Imortalitatea celulara; Controlul aberant al cresterii celulare; Tumorigenicitatea celulelor transformate;
- Senescenta celulara: Tipuri de senescenta si caracteristicile celulelor senescente; Cai moleculare de activare a senescentei celulare; Mecanisme de inducere a senescentei;
- Latenta celulara, diferentierea si de-diferentierea celulara;
- Citometria in flux;

Cursul (14 h) se adreseaza studentilor din anul II de studiu din cadrul Masterului de Biochimie si Biologie Moleculara si abordeaza urmatoarele subiecte:
- Introducere in ingineria tisulara;
- Principii de baza ale ingineriei tisulare in vitro si in vivo: componenta celulara (celule stem, celule diferentiate), structura „scaffold” (matrici polimerice), semnale celulare;
- Biocompatibilitate: teste in vitro de evaluare a biocompatibilitatii (teste incluse in standardele ISO 10993-5; teste de evaluare a interactiilor celule-biomaterial); teste in vivo de evaluare a biocompatibilitatii (testul de sensibilitate, reactivitate intracutanata, toxicitate sistemica, genotoxicitate, carcinogenicitate etc.);
- Aplicatii ale ingineriei tisulare in medicina regenerativa: Ingineria tisulara a pielii; Regenerarea tesutului osos si ingineria tisulara; Reconstructia cartilajului articular prin inginerie tisulara; Ingineria tisulara vasculara; Ingineria tisulara a ficatului.
