Between July 4-6, 2023, the 20th edition of the “Princeton-Bucharest Conference in Early Modern Philosophy” will take place in Alba Iulia, a traditional event resulting from almost two decades of collaboration between professors, researchers and students at the University of Bucharest and Princeton University.
Founded in 2001 by prof. Dana Jalobeanu, PhD, and prof. Vlad Alexandrescu, PhD, teaching staff at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Bucharest, together with prof. Daniel Garber, PhD, professor at Princeton University, the event “Princeton-Bucharest Seminar in Early Modern Philosophy” is an annual interdisciplinary meeting of researchers and students in the field of early modern thought.
The purpose of the seminar is to create the necessary framework to discuss articles and ideas through formal and informal discussions. The full program and topics of all scheduled meetings can be consulted here.
